CHRIS & RUKH # 6

Whenever there was a need
She tried to stand above the greed
In the land of desires, she made her creed
And fed, all that there was ever to feed

In her mysterious ways stood no shadow of doubt
Her desires were many and all on rout
She stoked them
She stroked them
And when she had had enough of the rush
She laid her sword to rest in love's mush

Whenever there was a fear
She tried to stand alone with her spear
In the land of desires, she cried her tears
And sated the roses of her cheeky sheer

In her proud ways the world played like a song
She strummed her chords and sang along
She sang like the birds unfettered...
Chained, neither by cages, nor by feathers.

The sky is yours and mine girl
The earth that's ours, is on the twirl
The flags on the soil reach out to the yonder
You can look above, and start to wonder

Her desires are the seeds she plants
Her wishes are her coveted chants
In her empire of yearning thirst
I write my name, for better or for worst
